The Wraith Crew is a light, insulated pullover which uses two leading fabrics in Polartec® Alpha® and Pertex Equilibrium to create a breathable, temperature regulating layer. Designed for everyday aesthetic with a technical edge, the Wraith Crew is between worlds - a nexus of smart fabrics, form and functionality.

Polartec® Alpha® was first invented for exclusive use by US Special Forces as active insulation for extreme variability in temperatures and activity - with combat often being very “stop start”. Alpha® is designed to ensure consistent warmth whilst enabling greater breathability during dynamic activity. It features air exchange technology to create sustained comfort without the need for losing or adding layers, an option that was not available to US forces whilst on operations. As well as regulating warmth, Alpha® is fast drying, lightweight, highly compressible and durable, making it ideal for versatile outdoor use.

Now the key to Polartec® Alpha® is its breathability, which is why any fabric it is combined with must enable that same movement of air - and not compromise this. That’s why we’ve chosen to pair Alpha® with Equilibrium fabric made by Pertex. Pertex Equilibrium uses a double weave construction, a tightly woven outer face which provides elemental protection, and a more openly woven inner face which enhances moisture wicking away from the body. Designed for dynamic activity across a wide range of conditions, Pertex Equilibrium commonly features in highly breathable, lightweight wind shells. Featuring, pre-consumer recycled nylon, post consumer recycled polyester and bio-based nylon, Pertex Equilibrium provides a sustainable as well as efficient companion to Polartec® Alpha® in creating a garment that balances insulation and breathability.

In terms of features, the Wraith Crew has two Polartec® Alpha® lined hip pockets to provide comfort and warmth as well as storage capacity. An elasticated hem cord and ribbed neckline and cuffs aid with fit during active pursuits.
