LEST WE FORGET

On the eleventh day of the eleventh month 2018 NIRMAL ‘NIMS’ PURJA MBE @nimsdai  stood upright and to attention on the summit of AMA DABLAM to mark the 100th Anniversary of Armistice Day. The day that commemorates the end of The First World War.

After a gruelling climb up in extremely high winds and sub zero temperatures Nims reached the summit but the broadcast equipment would not work in the extreme temperatures.  We received this message from Nims the next day.

“Bro today was emotional, if I had turn around.. everyone would have turn around.. My fingers going numb trying to fix that kit.. I had even put the battery in the summit suit to keep warm”

“NIMS WE SALUTE YOU”
